Delete your Salah Reminder account

You can permanently delete your account and associated data in the app. If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email.

Delete immediately in the app

  1. Open Salah Reminder and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and select Account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Review the warning and confirm Delete account.

The app deletes your authentication account and synchronized preferences, then clears local prayer history, account data, and scheduled reminders from that device. Prayer history is never uploaded. This cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your Salah Reminder account. Use the subject “Delete my Salah Reminder account.” We will reply with steps to verify that you control the account before deletion.

Email a deletion request
Do not send your password, authentication token, or Apple/Google credentials. We will never ask for them.

Data deleted

Prayer history is never stored on Salah Reminder’s servers. A deletion request made by email cannot remotely erase local history from a phone. If you request deletion by email, remove Salah Reminder or clear its application data on each device to erase that local history.

Data not controlled by Salah Reminder

Deleting Salah Reminder does not delete your separate Apple or Google account. Apple, Google, Supabase, Resend, and app stores may retain limited security, transaction, or delivery records under their own legal and operational requirements. Salah Reminder never receives a server copy of your prayer history.

Timing

In-app deletion is normally immediate. Verified email requests are normally completed within 30 days. We will tell you if applicable law requires a different period.
